Studying in Miami, far from home, and running between classes while surviving on instant ramen.
The biggest challenge of all? Tackling public restrooms. Now, for most, a roll of toilet paper is just part of the deal. But for someone who had grown up with a much cleaner alternative, this was nothing short of a crisis.
One fateful day, after a particularly tragic encounter with toilet paper, an idea was born—why wasn’t there an easy, portable solution for better hygiene? Surely, there had to be others out there who felt the same way.
That’s when Hygiene Collective (HYCO) came to life: a mission to make hygiene accessible to anyone, anywhere, anytime.
Fast forward to today, and what started as one college student’s struggle has become a brand dedicated to redefining travel hygiene.

Let’s be honest – when you’re used to jet sprays/shattafs, traveling without one is borderline traumatic. HYCO was born from that exact moment of frustration. So if you’ve ever stared at a roll of toilet paper in horror… you’re one of us.
